Candyman's story began right after an icon of the miniature horse industry, Bond Snippet, passed away.  Snippet's loss was huge for me and shortly after losing him, Candyman was born.  He filled a large void left by the passing of Snippet and also redirected where my farm was going to a new industry.  My daughter had been breeding American Shetlands for several years and her gift of Candyman gave new purpose to Modern Miniatures.  Candyman's sire is National Grand Champion Sire, Congress Champion Sire, & Futurity Champion Sire, B&L's Diamond's Golden Image (B&L's Lil's Diamond x Colorful Miss Wiser), and his incredible dam, Star Struck Hershey's Eye Candy (B&L's Bar G's Rock E Hershey Bar x Rhapsodys Red Glitter Girl), was a National Grand Champion Producer as well.  Candyman is a full brother to the beautiful 3x National Grand Champion Halter Mare, Reserve Champion Liberty Horse, and National Champion Producer, Star Struck Gold's Bay Beauty.  My boy has been an absolutely amazing sire and has sired World and National Grand Champions and Futurity Champions to date.  The Candyman sons and daughters are not only fierce in the show ring, but amazing sires and producers themselves.  I am extremely proud of my Candyman!  We only breed a small amount of mares each year and offer a few select foals from Candyman each year.  All Candyman foals are AMHA, AMHR &/or ASPC Futurity nominated.  Inquiries are always welcome!
