I have had the honor of owning B&L's Diamond's Golden Image (AMHR registered name is StarStruck Diamond's Golden Image BK) since he was just a few weeks old.  I had always wanted a little "Trigger" and in the Summer of 2000, I had finally been blessed with my ideal stallion, thank to the wonderful Lee & Barbara Martin.  I knew very little about American Shetlands at that point, but I knew "Gold" was something incredibly special. He has so much presence, personality, color, and animation in such a small package. 

His sire is an own son of the immortal Hall Of Fame, Superior Sire, Congress Grand Champion Stallion & Pony Of The Year, B&L's Bar G's Rock E Hershey Bar (Bar G's Rock E x Bear's Fashionable Lady), and the stunning mare, B&L's Rock E Lilli-Hammer (Bar G's Rock E x Royal Roan Pansy).  Gold's dam, Colorful Miss Wiser (Wa-Full Mr Bud Wiser x Wa-Full Real Starlite), is a Congress Grand Champion Producer, 2x National Grand Champion Producer and Superior Dam herself.  Gold is a maternal half-brother to our own Congress Champion Mare that we lost in 2017, Wall Street Rock E Harryetta Potter, as well as National Grand Champion Stallion and Halter Horse Of The Year, B&L's Rock E Red Alert, and National & Congress Grand Champion Gelding, Wall Street Rock E Mr. Mitz.  Gold was shown on a limited basis due to my outside obligations at that time, but was retired as undefeated in halter.  He has been an absolutely amazing sire and has sired numerous National and Congress Champions, Futurity Champions, and Performance Champions.  He is also the sire of 3-time consecutive National Grand Champion Halter Mare, Star Struck Gold's Bay Beauty.  We also have Bay Beauty's full brother, Modern Gold's Candyman, who is also triple-registered, and is our other lead stallion.  Gold is known for typically being a size reducer, having sired foals who even stay under 34".  His sons and daughters are amazing sires and producers themselves, with many National and Congress Champions, as well as Futurity Champions, to their merit.  I am extremely proud of my golden boy.  We only breed a small amount of mares each year and offer a few select foals from Gold each year.  All Gold foals are AMHR &/or ASPC Futurity Nominated.
